About Jane Foodie

What's the difference between flash frozen and regular ole frozen?

We make our foods fresh with all natural, high quality ingredients, and immediately flash freeze them. This means we drop the temperature of the food to -40ºF in minutes, which keeps ice crystals from forming- the main culprit for why food degrades in your freezer when frozen regularly. By flash freezing, our food stay fresh in your freezer for 2 years and retains the same nutrient density, flavor and texture as the moment it was freshly made.

Where are you located?

Jane Foodie is located in New York's beautiful Hudson Valley. Planning a visit? Learn more about Jane Foodie Market here.

Making the Food

How should I store the food?

Store all foods in your freezer immediately upon arrival. Our foods are safe in your freezer for up to 2 years.

Is the food already cooked?

Yes, all of our foods are precooked or parbaked, so all they need is a quick reheat.

How do I reheat the food?

All foods are labeled with their respective reheat instructions. They can be warmed in the oven, microwave, toaster oven or air fryer. Most of our foods do not required any thawing, but if you prefer to thaw your soup, stew, or sauce to speed up the reheating time, we suggest thawing in the refrigerator overnight.
